Hello MVPs and Techbeta Participants,
We would like to announce the winners of our Best Bug and Suggestions Contest. More than a couple of months ago (sorry for the extended delay) we announced this contest. We obviously fell a little behind on following up with you all on this contest. So, we decided to increase the scope of the contest from Best Bug and Suggestions August 2007 - September 2007 to the Best Bug and Suggestions August 2007 - January 2008.
Excluding our TAP participants, we came up with a list of what we thought were the best bugs and suggestions over this time period. What we came up was a list of 10 bugs and suggestions (from 9 beta participants) that we have either fixed or we have resolved as postponed, meaning that we are seriously considering for the next release of Windows Essential Business Server.
Each winner will get their choice of either a free copy of Windows Vista Ultimate (x86 or X64) or a System Builder copy of our own WSSG’s Windows Home Server. Please contact us at ******@microsoft.com to tell us your preference.
We will continue to keep the contest open through RTM. So, we may be announcing winners any time between now and RTM. We really liked being able to look across a larger time frame of bugs and suggestions and not set an arbitrary limit on how many bugs or suggestions qualified. It allowed us to keep an open mind to all the feedback we received. As we come closer to our RTM date, we will really need your help in giving us feedback on what we have put together. So, please keep the feedback coming in. We really appreciate all of your feedback and participation in making Windows Essential Business Server the best that it can be.
So, here are the winners in no particular order;
